Family Updates

March 2004

It has been so long since I have updated the kids' milestone pages, so I thought I would start a new journal.  This way I can put all the month's happenings in one place and hopefully make it easier for me to keep up.  A lot of things have been going on in the Lynch household since last fall.  Aidan can now write his name and knows how to write most of his letters.  He loves to do "school" and practice writing and drawing.  Aidan has also been attending speech therapy twice a week and has shown a dramatic improvement in just a short time.  The class has also helped him separate from mommy for a little bit.  When we first started attending, he got very upset and cried when I left. Now he trots into the room, excited about all the things he is going to do.   Aidan also became officially potty trained this month!! Woo-hoo!  He even got to pick out new underwear to celebrate the occasion.  Fiona has changed so much in such a short time.  She carries on complete conversations with anyone who will listen.  And she is my little daredevil.  She *loves* to climb.  Fiona is also showing growing interest in the potty.  She has even dribbled on it!  She can sing the ABC song, Twinkle, Twinkle, and her personal favorite, You are my Sunshine.  She had her 2 yr check up last week and my peanut weighed 21 lbs fully clothed and is 29 inches tall.  Petite little thing.  Damian is still working down in Corpus Christi and commuting home on the weekends.  It's been tough on the kids and I with him being gone.  We all miss him terrible.  But the end is in sight.  We are moving on March 26th.  We won't be in our new house until mid April, but at least we will all be back together again.  Fiona celebrates her second birthday at the end of this month.  Where does the time go?! And the most exciting news is that there is another little Lynch on the way!!!  We found out last month that we are expecting baby #3 in late October.  The kids are very excited.  It will be a long wait for them.
